About the Role:
MEC NT are seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to support our defence contract at RAAF Base Tindal, located in Katherine NT.

Key responsibilities and duties include:
- Organisation of onsite personnel including prioritisation, delegation of tasks and pre-starts
- Ensure that staff have adequate training, experience and equipment for the task
- Provide project supervision as required onsite with all work parties
- Partake in the planning and design stages of civil activities
- When required, be capable and willing to help the team with civil works/manual labour tasks
- Manage non-conformances and initiate corrective actions as required
- Review reports and inspections and follow up on recommendations
- Attend onsite meetings to ensure quality, health safety and environment issues are raised for review
- Lead by example and promote sound safe and quality practices at every opportunity
- Maintain a safe workplace and follow work procedures for the safety of team members, general public and property in accordance with work health and safety guidelines
To be successful for this role you will have the following:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Civil Supervisor role
- At least 5 years’ experience in the civil industry
- Ability to read and interpret drawings correctly
- Construction Induction / White Card
- Minimum HR Driver’s Licence
- Excavator, Backhoe & Skidsteer VOC’s
- High Risk Work Licences: C2 or C6 Mobile Crane & Forklift Truck
- Intermediate or proficient user of Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Intermediate or proficient user of Simpro
- Be capable of passing a drug & alcohol test and police check
