About the Role: As a Site Supervisor with Shamrock based in Darwin, you'll play a vital role in assisting the Project Manager in the successful delivery of projects. You will supervise and coordinate onsite activities, ensuring compliance with commercial expectations, policies, and procedures while maintaining a high level of safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate onsite activities during site establishment, construction, inspection, testing, commissioning, and disestablishment.
- Ensure compliance with Shamrock's commercial expectations, policies, and procedures.
- Evaluate project tasks, develop suitable methodologies, and ensure works are carried out safely, on time, and meeting commercial requirements.
- Maintain daily supervisor reports and project work programs.
- Liaise with client representatives, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Manage plant and equipment, including maintenance and inspections.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance and safety/environmental measures.
- Supervise and train site personnel, ensuring adherence to Safe Work Method Statements and PPE requirements.
- Participate in hazard identification, incident investigations, and safety meetings.
Qualifications and Experience:
- General safety induction card and First Aid certificate.
- Certificate 3 in Civil Construction or related trade qualification.
- Highly Desirable: Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience as a Site Supervisor in relevant areas.
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Project.
- Knowledge of modern construction techniques and project methodologies.
