A leader in the deployment of large-scale renewable energy and infrastructure projects, with extensive expertise in design, construction and maintenance, this company is now seeking to employ an experienced Civil Supervisor.
Focused on the delivery of Australia’s energy transition with renewable generation assets and the on-going operations & maintenance activities of numerous solar farms, their clients include some of the largest electricity utilities, infrastructure and renewable developers, commercial and industrial companies and transport network operators across Australia.
Role
The Supervisor is responsible for the coordination and supervision of sub-contractors delivering packages of civil works across projects including roads, earthworks, trenching, fencing and more. You will ensure all construction activities are delivered to standard, quality/costs are managed, productivity objectives achieved and safety values are upheld.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervise subcontractor services for the work to ensure construction program, HSEQ and time requirements are met.
- Completing reporting requirements in established systems to ensure productivity expectations are managed and recorded;
- Compliance with the program as developed by the Project team
- Liaising with subcontractors and management team over site-based issues and working towards efficient resolutions;
- Build and sustain relationships with clients, partners, suppliers, consultants, regulators and key community stakeholders to enhance the company reputation and optimise access to work opportunities.
- Monitor construction activities against budget and assist in corrective action measures where deviations occur.
To secure this opportunity we are seeking a candidate who meets the following;
- Experience in the delivery of civil infrastructure requirements on renewable energy projects (earthworks, roads, fencing, trenching etc.)
- Strong experience in the supervision of personnel, plant, machinery and subcontractors on site
- Demonstrated success in managing performance of reports to meet and exceed agreed targets
- A successful track record with planning, organising and time management.
- Willingness to travel/FIFO to sites across Australia and New Zealand.

With projects across Australia and New Zealand, you're roster will be offered on a FIFO/DIDO basis as required with LAFA and excellent employment benefits on offer. Initially this role will commence on a contract basis for a Solar Farm project in Northern Victoria and then move into a permanent role with projects across Australia/New Zealand.
