Job description

PARC Engineering are currently seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to join the team on a resource project 2:1 Roster.

You will have knowledge and experience in a diverse range of construction types, such as detailed earthworks, concreting, formwork and steel fixing. This is a working role where you will be leading through action. 

Reporting directly to the Civil Superintendent, the successful candidate will act as a strong and positive example, demonstrating guidance and leadership at all times. You will be able to complete a project on time, focusing on quality and budget whilst ensuring and promoting a safe workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the provision of resources and support to enable the Project to function efficiently and effectively
  • Lead shift pre-start meetings and proactively drive safety values and core behaviours.
  • Ensure work crews are adequately resourced to complete their jobs safely.
  • Promote a positive culture by leading by example, coaching, and mentoring the workforce.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential problems and lead contingency plans.
  • Ensure compliance with client QAQC requirements, as well as Company policies, plans and procedures.
  • Ensure all work is constructed in accordance with relevant specifications and procedures..

Role Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role preferably in construction or NPI projects.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Appointed Persons – Schedule 26.
  • Working Rights within Australia.
  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
  • Able to interpret and follow design models and engineering drawings.
  • Able to maintain high safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Commitment to safe work habits and our core values.
  • Certificate IV in Frontline Management is advantageous.\
