Civil/Flood Engineer

Due to upcoming and on-going projects my client, an established Australian Consultancy are looking for a Civil Flood Engineer (Ideally 5+ years local experience) to join their Sydney office. As a Civil/Flood Engineer, your role will be to provide technical expertise on a wide variety of large public and private sector projects. This position offers exposure to a number of landmark projects and excellent career progression opportunities.

The ideal candidate for this role will have 5 years' plus experience. Previous exposure to major building developments in a multi-disciplinary team is a must. Expertise in flood analysis, water quality solutions, retention and external service coordination would be favourably considered.
 
As the successful candidate you will have:

• 5 - 10 years’ experience
• An Australian tertiary engineering qualification or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with DRAINs, TuFLOW, Music, 12D, RAFTS, Mapinfo, Navisworks and AR&R 2016 procedures
• The ability to communicate well with senior management, authorities and clients;
• Excellent report writing skills;
• A sound understanding of the regulatory requirements for significant state developments; and
• The ability to manage the workload of multiple projects;
• Commitment to self-improvement and continuing professional development.
