The Role

This is a 12 month fixed term contractfor a maternity cover. The role would be a great opportunity for someone lookingto jump start their careers in the life insurance sector.

You will form part of the Claims teamand will be responsible for supporting our Claims Consultants in a range ofadministrative duties from providing documentation and clerical support, toproviding follow up and assisting our claimants in any ad hocrequirements.

Your responsibilities include but arenot limited to:

  • Meetagreed service standards
  • Meetagreed quality targets on work completed (including, but not limited to,telephony, administration and data integrity)
  • Claimform requests
  • NewClaims registration and correspondence
  • Completingclaim follow ups for outstanding information eg. Medical reports, etc
  • Paymentof invoices, and claim payments as required
  • Mailclassification and allocation
  • Keyphone contact for claims queries
  • Letterand correspondence creation
  • Reconciliations
  • Generalhousekeeping activities
  • Reinsurancereporting as required

  • The abilityto pick up on systems and product knowledge

  • Strongcommunication skills, both written and verbal
  • A keeninterest in understanding the claims administration process within the lifeinsurance sector
