Claims Analyst

WesTrac are on the hunt for a Claims Analyst to become part of our dynamic finance team here at WesTrac!

The Claims Analyst holds accountability for overseeing the comprehensive CAT claims discounting process. This involves, but is not confined to, understanding CAT merchandising programs, configuring discounts, analysing data, and preparing and submitting claims to Caterpillar (CAT) in adherence to CAT Guidelines and WesTrac's established policies and procedures.

The primary objective of this role is to secure the highest possible financial refund from CAT programs, thereby contributing to the enhancement of WesTrac's overall financial performance.

Location: South Guildford, WA

Roster: 5/2 8hrs with flexible start / finish times available

To be successful the following is required:

• Advanced computer literacy skills - MS Office (specifically Excel)
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships
• Highly developed attention to detail and ability to understand complex customer incentive programs
• Advanced time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities to meet objectives
• Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously

Desirable:

• Certificate or Diploma in accounting/finance or business.
• Experience in a similar Finance or Claims Analyst role involving customer incentive programs
• Prior experience using SAP
