The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and adaptable person to join the Trade Credit & Surety business unit. The role of a Claims Assessor will see you taking responsibility for the prompt and fair assessment of claims.
You will be reporting directly into the Head of Trade Credit Claims and working within a supportive and dedicated team.
Process claims ensuring compliance with the Insurance Contracts Act and other regulatory requirements
Conduct all written and verbal communications with clients in a professional manner and maintain customer service focus when managing difficult issues.
Support the implementation of the Claims strategy to enable delivery of overall business targets
Maintain all files, systems and databases to ensure that they accurately represent the Claim Management process
About you
We are looking for a driven and motivated individual who is commercially minded and solution focused who ideally comes from a financial services / insurance background.
Fundamental knowledge of policy and regulatory requirements and insurance industry and claims processes ideally in business lines highly regarded
Previous credit control or trade credit accounts receivable administration experience
Strong experience in a customer-focused role with excellent attention to detail
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Team player with collaborative mindset and a high level of resilience
Take accountability and ownership of tasks acting with integrity despite pressures and challenges
