Claims Officer | Warehouse Administration

About the Role

Our client is Australia's largest, family-owned food service distributor located in Chullora. They are seeking a detail-oriented Claims Officer to join their team. In this position, you will play a crucial role in managing claims. Working closely with the warehouse team, you will be responsible for reviewing CCTV footage and investigating missing stock.

Key Responsibilities 

• Review CCTV footage to investigate incidents of lost or damaged stock, identifying potential causes and areas for improvement
• Review and assess claims regarding damaged or missing stock
• Collaborate with warehouse team to verify inventory discrepancies 
• Maintain accurate records of claims and investigations

To be successful, you will have:

• Experience in a similar administrative role, preferably within a warehouse or distribution setting
• A passion for investigating and a great eye for detail
• Excellent communication skills to with the ability to interact with all levels and customers
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient with MS Microsoft Office Suite and computer systems and software relevant to the role
• A positive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond.
