Location: Multiple locations – Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Newcastle, Parramatta or Perth  

Type: 12 months Fixed Term Contract, Full Time

The opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Claims System Specialist within our Short Tail Technical Team. The successful candidate will be joining a team who work with our operational claims teams to ensure the Claims Systems support their activities, processes and customer needs. We place a strong focus on ensuring we continuously deliver solutions by understanding the needs of our business, our users and customers.

 
Your new role
  • Provide support and guidance to users across all Claims systems including integrated back end systems
  • Create, manage and execute system testing including UAT, PVT and Regression.
  • Manage our Enquiry Inbox by responding to a wide range of requests from the business and/or IT
  • Review and reconcile Inbound / Outbound Document Management and Automation system issues
  • Initiate and/or participate in workshops to gather requirements to be documented and identify an optimal solution with the Product/Business owner and our development teams
  • Raise and manage system issues and liaise with user and IT to drive resolutions
  • Identify and implement process improvements and assist in the development and implementation of assigned projects

  • Strong analytical, problem solving and process mapping skills
  • Time management and organisational skills with a solutions outcome focus
  • Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills with an agile and critical mindset
  • Ability to form and maintain stakeholder relationships as well as effective communication skills across a wide range of levels
  • Ability to work autonomously, show initiative and establish priorities around competing tasks and timeframes
  • Skills to manage and perform testing under challenging timelines and environments.
