On 8 July 2024, we will welcome 45 students with one class each in Years 7, 8, and 9, opening to Year 6 in 2025. We will support these young people and their families in engaging or re-engaging with school, successfully navigating the middle years, and facing their future with confidence, resilience, and pride.

About the roleAs a Classroom Teacher at The Yountiy School, you will create supportive and inclusive learning environments for students presenting with a broad range of complex physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development needs. The Younity School is proudly implementing the Berry Street Education Model of teaching and learning.
You will design engaging, creative lessons to improve student outcomes, leveraging innovative teaching techniques and resources to capture students' interest and stimulate their curiosity, and make learning a rewarding experience.
You will tailor lesson plans and teaching strategies to meet the specific needs of each student in your class, considering their strengths and weaknesses, recognising and respecting each student's pace of learning and providing the necessary accommodations and support to help them succeed.
And, above all, you will collaborate with colleagues, contribute to a cohesive team environment, and build meaningful connections with families and community members to foster a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
