Are you an incredible Junior Primary Teacher who is ready for a move to the Northern Territory? Braitling Primary School, located in Alice Springs in the heart of Australia, is seeking a Junior Primary Teacher to join their team in July. This is a permanent full time position in a supportive, collaborative school community.
We have an enrolment of just over 300 students across preschool through to Year 6, many of whom are from diverse cultural backgrounds, including a cohort of approximately 45% who identify as Aboriginal, many Maori, Pacifica and Samoan students and a rich cross section of families from around the world. This year, we have partnered with the Alice Springs Language Centre to deliver Arrernte language and culture to all of our students. Our school Engagement Team works with teachers and educators to maximise attendance and build the home-school partnerships from the very start of schooling.

The successful applicant will:
- Plan, prepare and explicitly deliver quality and effective teaching and learning programs which are consistent with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers and relevant curriculum policies, work programs and educational trends.
- Support students through interaction in a variety of settings and through the active development of supportive learning environments and effective behaviour management practices.
- Provide for the physical, social, cultural and emotional well-being and safety of students whilst at school.
- Regularly assess students (diagnostic, formative and summative) for developmental, feedback and reporting purposes.
- Maintain student records and samples of work and report on student performance to students, parents, the department and other stakeholders as required.
- Establish and maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships between the school, parents and community.
