Position Overview:
We are seeking a diligent Training Administrator with a specialized focus on workplace health and safety to join our team at the Iona Gas Plant. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in implementing and coordinating training programs to enhance safety standards and promote a culture of well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and administer training programs focused on workplace health and safety, in alignment with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Coordinate training sessions, including scheduling, logistics, and communication with participants.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging and informative training materials, presentations, and resources.
- Track and maintain training records, ensuring compliance with certification and re-certification requirements.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on safety procedures, protocols, and best practices.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging regulations, and best practices in workplace health and safety training.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in training administration, preferably with a focus on workplace health and safety.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate others.
- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other training software.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
