About you
As a passionate Classroom Teacher you are committed to enriching the lives of your students. We're seeking an individual who thrives on collaboration, welcomes feedback, and is dedicated to ensuring all students reach their full potential through high quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.
There are two temporary, full-time positions for Term 2, 2024 only.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- an ability to create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to diverse student needs
- sound knowledge in K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
- skill in utilising formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
- a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
- a commitment to supporting the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
- excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
- confidence in integrating technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.
You will have attained:
- a Bachelor of Education (Primary) [for conditionally qualified Teachers, you will need to provide evidence in the form of transcripts from your teaching degree]
- active accreditation with NSW Standards Authority (NESA)
- qualifications in Religious Education or Theology Per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead in Sydney Catholic Schools, or the commitment to undertake this qualification
- an SCS Employee ID Number, by completing the Registration To Teach process, or a commitment to complete the registration process.
