Position Highlights
The successful applicant will join the school with a focus on providing quality Catholic education, maximising student outcomes by offering a rich, relevant and holistic curriculum that is student centred, flexible and challenging.
This temporary, part-time role is scheduled to commence on Monday, 24 June 2024. We welcome applications from recent graduates as well (if applicable).

About you
As a Classroom Teacher, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.
To excel in this role, you will be able to:
- create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of student
- have a sound knowledge in developing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
- utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
- employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
- support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
- demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
- integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.
You will have attained:
- a tertiary qualification in Education
- eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- an Employee ID registration number with Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) or a commitment to Register to Teach in SCS
- Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
