As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for delivering domestic services in our catering kitchen and other cleaning duties. You will use your skills in time-management and attention to detail to ensure that work is completed to an exceptional standard, whilst gaining a rewarding career in the Aged Care Sector.
This role is based at our catering facility in Unanderra and is a family friendly position that doesn't require evenings or weekends.
Your work may include:
• Ensuring a clean and hygienic work area.
• Sanitise and the cleaning of a Commercial Production Kitchen.
• The cleaning of Commercial Production Equipment.
• The cleaning of public areas within the Catering Services Centre.
• Maintain a high level of personal hygiene, cleanliness and presentation adhering to the uniform/appearance and behaviour policy as per Staff Handbook.
• Adhere to OH & S requirements for a safe, clean environment and report any accidents/incidents to the Supervisor.
• The use of chemicals in the cleaning and sanitation process.
• Complete relevant documentation in an accurate and timely manner
• Other duties as required by the manager not inconsistent with the role.
• A sound level verbal and written communication skills
• A demonstrated willingness to work as part of a multidisciplinary team

To be successful you will have:
• The demonstrated experience in the use of cleaning chemicals which may be used in a Commercial Production Kitchen
• Awareness of hygiene and safety issues in a Commercial Production Kitchen Environment
• Experience as a Commercial Cleaner in a Commercial Kitchen Environment.
• Ability to undertake work in a refrigerated environment
• A sound level verbal and written communication skills
• A demonstrated willingness to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
