Duties include performing Nuclear Medicine, such as lymphoscintigraphy, yttrium joint therapy injection, exercise and pharmacological cardiac stress tests, assisting with the smooth running of the day to day department work and reporting the Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT scans.Classifications for this position will range from classification range HM25-30 (.$125,900.84 - $173,290.00 per annum)Your Contribution
- Medical Degree from a medical school recognised in Victoria.
- Registration with Medical Board of Australia.
- Good standing with own Medical Defence Organisation.
- Post FRANZCR part 2 or FRACP part 1.
- Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain/ Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willing to obtain (Select which is applicable)
St Vincent's Medical Imaging is a fully integrated imaging department including Nuclear Medicine, Therapy, and PET/CT. It provides Plain Radiography CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography and interventional Radiology, including Interventional Neuroradiology.There are 30 full time and fractional staff specialists including four Nuclear Medicine specialist radiologists, one of whom is dual trained with FRACP and fulltime dedicated Nuclear Medicine Physician.The department is RACP/RANCZR accredited for advanced training in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT. All aspects of diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine are performed with an emphasis on complete integration, clinical input with structural and cross sectional imaging.Working at St Vincent’s
