Total Plant Hire is looking for an experienced Cleaner / Housekeeper to join our team at our workshop based in Pinjarra. This role will be offered as part-time permanent position, working 12 hours - 3 days per week. Start time and working days will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in cleaning / housekeeper role, able to work autonomously and within timeframes, along with having a meticulous attention to detail and pride with their work which forms a fundamental criteria to this role.
Duties Include but not limited too;
- Cleaning of facility including offices / rooms, crib room, disinfect bathrooms and kitchen etc.
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities including sweeping/vacuuming and mopping floors of various types.
- Dusting of various surfaces, ledges, light fittings, countertops, loose furniture and hard to reach places etc.
- Carry out heavy/deep cleaning tasks and special projects such as washing windows, mirrors and glass surfaces ensuring they are free from streaks.
- Safe storage and use of cleaning agents including correct cleaning agents used in correct quantities.
- Replenish toiletries such as toilet paper, paper towels and hand wash.
- Take inventory of cleaning supplies and materials, including ensuring that the stock and maintenance supply room always having relevant supplies.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines.
- Waste management for all offices and rooms ensuring bins and recycling receptables into the appropriate waste bins and ensuring these are kept cleaned and free of smell.
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs or any breakages that occurred during the cleaning process.
- Other duties as required.
About you / Requirements
- Current and valid drivers license.
- Proven cleaning experience in a similar role is essential.
- Excellent communication skills - proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- You must be dedicated, organised and pose meticulous attention to detail. This is a fundamental criteria to this position.
- Ability to handle / lift cleaning equipment and machinery when required.
- Positive attitude and able to work a part of a team / autonomously.
- Safe use of chemicals
- Knowledge of Work, Health & Safety and Infection Control
