About You:
You need to have a genuine passion for the elderly,, connecting with each client through good communication skills, compassion and an empathic nature. You will have previous experience within theAged Care industry.
Responsibilities:
- Clean residents room
- Help with Laundry tasks
- Or / Kitchen Work (assisting the chef)
- Perform Infection Control cleaning
- Clean facilities communal areas
- Set ups cleaning trolleys and remove rubbish
- Complete cleaning records
Mandatory Requirements:
- Current Federal Police Check
- NDIS worker screen card, or prepared to obtain one
- Current Flu Vaccination Certificate
- Current COVID vaccination and state government booster requirements
- Driver’s licence, reliable car, and mobile phone (essential)
- Previous cleaning / laundry experience, ideally within theAged Care industry
- Have a good understanding of the safety chemicals and their correct and safe handling
- And or Food Handlers Certificate
