THE COMPANY
Our client is a well known Global Logistics company with state of the art facilities and systems. Their internal culture is professional yet down to earth. Due to business growth, they are in need of extra support staff.
THE ROLE
This is the ideal role for someone who is completing / has recently completed the Diploma of Customs Broking and looking to gain a role that will start your career in Customs.
This role's responsibility is to communicate with importers, Shippers, and Account holders to gather proof of the declared value of goods.
Main responsibilities will be
- Making and receiving phone calls
- Receiving and responding to Emails
- Uploading and assessing documentary evidence submitted and received via in house portal
- Data entry
- Obtain documents as required by Customs Brokers
WORKING HOURS
Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm (initally)
Essential requirements are:
- Completing / completed Diploma of Customs Broking (advantageous)
- Clear communication skills
- An understanding ofAirfreight commercial documents
- Full Australian working rights
SALARY
Award hourly wages
