About the engagement:
Green Light Australia is looking for an Endpoint Security Consultantto join our delivery team. Working for one of technical partners, the Endpoint Security Consultant will work alongside the CISO to deliver significant Endpoint Security initiatives to the business & end customers.

An active ASGVA baseline and/or Negative Vetting (NV1) Clearance at minimum, is essential – consultants who are not Australian Citizens and do not have an active baseline and/or NV1 cannot be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the CISO to deliver key initiatives and projects for delivery and/or deployment across the wider business and end customers
• Provide guidance & advice on security frameworks, design & architecture for endpoint solutions
• Improve the security posture of the endpoint/servers
• Install security measures to protect systems and information infrastructure including firewalls and data encryption programs.
• Hold ownership of security policy and configurations of infrastructure elements (such as mail filters and web filters), and perform functions such as policy reviews, incident handling, analysis, and monthly reporting.
• Identification of inefficient procedures or processes and suggesting improvements for implementation.
• Identify opportunities for business development within the existing client base, either through the creation of new services or through the expansion of delivered services.
• Deliver leading-edge and time-critical interpretation and management outcomes of available Threat Intelligence data.

Requirements:

• 10+ years as a Security Professional specialising in Endpoint Security
• Has worked as an Endpoint Security Consultant for at least the past five (5) years in large organisations and/or consultancies onsite for enterprise end customers
• Proven experience doing the planning, design and architecture for security solutions and/or security products go-to-market strategies
• Agnostic across multiple endpoint platform & technologies - i.e, Crowdstrike, BigFix, Tanium, SentinelOne, Carbon Black etc
• Basic background system administration skills on supported operating systems (Microsoft Windows, GNU/Linux, Sun Solaris, HP-UX), and a general understanding of the security features of various operating systems
• Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IPS concepts.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, including presentations, and ad-hoc client reports.
• Ability to lead POC's and new deployments
• Experience implementing strategies to support secure and compliant architectures. Knowledge of network architectures, topologies and concepts (NGWFs, WAF, DAM, IPS, etc).
