About the Role
We are actively looking for an innovative Team Leader with a strong team focus to assist in the day-to-day coordination of our Bookings team.
Our administration team provides clerical support to the Admissions and Booking of the hospital and are often the first point of contact for our patients, their families and visitors.
Duties and responsibilities involve, but are not limited to:
- Whilst working on-shift, leading a team of administrators to ensure departmental tasks are achieved in an effective and efficient manner;
- Maintaining relations with all internal and external customers and continually provide service enhancements to meet customer expectations; and
- Assisting the Admission and Bookings Department Manager with the coordination of clerical and human resource functions of administration staff across our department.
- Provide guidance, support and training for the team.
About You
Essential:
- Previous experience in a administration position
- Advanced communication and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to lead and manage staff effectively
- Previous experience in a supervisory role
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Proven organisational skills and a high degree of attention to detail & accuracy
- Advanced computer skills using MS Office and Patient Management Systems (PMS).
Desirable:
- Previous experience with PMS such as Meditech and Meditech Evolution
- Previous experience in process review and development.
Remuneration: Salary commensurate with experience
