AIR6500 will provide a Joint Air Battle Management System capability for the Royal Australian Air Force. The system will provide multi-domain integration of air, electromagnetic, and missile defence battle management including deployable & fixed operations centres, communications, and both active & passive sensors.

The DevSecOps Analyst is part of the Common Operating Environment team and will be responsible for deploying, maintaining and supporting the 1LMX tool suite for the AIR6500 program. The role will also support the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for the AIR6500 development environment, primarily the promotion and deployment of code through the SDLC.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Contribute to the building of CI/CD and DevSecOps infrastructure to support automated testing and deployment for various projects
• Be involved with automation of software builds and build checkout testing and informal system integration activities
• Contribute to automation and maintenance of the software build status for operational and test releases
• Contribute to automation and maintenance of business processes
• Monitor and maintain the health of supporting DevSecOps infrastructure like container orchestration, build agents, monitoring tools and dashboards
• Administration and maintenance of DevSecOps tools
• Assist with supporting implementation of defined best practices for source control, continuous integration, and release management
• Work with developers to identify, debug, and resolve build or deployment issues

About you:

• Knowledge and experience with Version/Artifact control tools such as GitLab/Nexus
• Understanding and experience with Build and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins/Gitlab
• Experience with Issue tracking and review tools such as Jira
• Knowledge and experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Ansible, Terraform and Packer
• Knowledge and experience with automation tools and scripting
• Understanding with the use of Linux Operating System

Special Requirements:

Applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and hold a current or re-instatable NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
