This opportunity sits in the Natural Resources (Mining, Oil & Gas) portfolio of our Energy Transition, Utilities and Natural Resources sector vertical, and is based in Perth, Western Australia, reporting to the local Sector Lead.

The Client Executive serves as the primary liaison between Capgemini and our clients. The purpose of the role is to deliver value to our clients so they can achieve a higher level of performance.
As a Client Executive, you play a crucial role at Capgemini. You are not only responsible for building long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients, but also are a strategic partner and trusted advisor to all your clients. By identifying untapped development opportunities, you get your customer to make the best buying decision for them – always keeping their individual requirements in mind.
- Build and manage customer relationships / partnerships at the Director and VP level
- Participate in delivery management through scheduled engagements and reviews between customer(s) & delivery leader(s).
- Accountable for KPI’s of revenue growth, order booking, contract margin (CM), and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with other practice groups to penetrate into new areas, and drive growth in existing areas where Capgemini has business.
- Pipeline creation through proactive selling: PoVs (Points of View) aligning to the industry trends
- Participate in sales and opportunity management through rigorous review of pipeline and performance - reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annually
- Lead RFPs and proactive proposals
- Generate leads and follow up
- Drive demand generation strategy and execution
- Conduct workshops with clients to create demand and understand their requirements and propose suitable offerings
- Interact with PMO teams and maintain smoother flow of contracts, and on time invoices and payments
Let’s talk about your capability and experience:
- 10+ years of experience in business consulting and/or IT industry and sales
- Previous experience of Business Development and client engagement management / Account Management
- Ideally you've worked within the mining, Oil & Gas and utilities sectors
- Experienced Solution Selling practitioner with growth mindset
- Experience working across multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to think laterally and provide thought leadership to clients
- Strategic planning; you have developed and implemented effective sales strategies to meet both short and long term plans
- Market analysis: you are used to analysing market trends, customer needs and the competitive landscape
- Product knowledge: you can quickly develop your understanding of Capgemini's services and the ability to articulate their value proposition
- Communications skills: strong written and verbal
- Leadership and teamwork: capacity to lead and motivate team members when required
- Negotiation skills: excellent negotiation skills in order to close deals effectively to ensure client satisfaction and profitability
