The focus of this role is to build genuine relationships with our clients and their pets! We’re on the hunt for our “people person” someone who thrives on being there for people in their happiest and sometimes unhappiest moments.
You are a highly organised person and can multitask like a pro whilst still upholding your amazing customer service superpowers!
We are offering a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week with the potential opportunity for full-time hours in the future.
Modbury Vet Clinic is situated in the North Eastern Suburbs of Adelaide, and has been under new ownership since April 2021. We work on a rotating roster Monday to Friday and alternating Saturday morning shifts. We have a beautiful new clinic with 5 consulting rooms, Xray/dental Xray machines and a large surgical suite. We also have a loft area with a full kitchen and dining space allowing you to escape and actually sit down for your lunch break! (We find little things like this make a huge difference!). You may also find we use this space to film some of our highly anticipated TikTok content!!

Our management team are passionate about professional and team development. We participate in monthly team training sessions and have been known to shut the clinic early on a Friday, to get together for team bonding events.

You will be encouraged to build your own rapport with our patients and their owners. About your role: This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service
- Handling client enquiries via phone, email and in person
- Managing the day-to-day appointment schedule
- Processing payments
- Administration support to our practice manager
- Support to our team of nurses and vets
- Product sales and client education
- Getting out from behind the desk and meeting all the cute patients and being a human treat dispenser!!
About you:
- Positive and friendly attitude
- Ability to work independently and part of a team
- Great organisation skills and attention to deals
- Can show empathy and is understanding
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Well Presented and always has a smile 😊
- Display a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get involved at all levels, with energy and drive
