Your new role
You are a highly motivated Client Manager with previous public practice experience. Working closely with the the director, some of your duties may include:
- Review work prepared by accounting team (following accounting team’s quality review), enforce expectations and standards of quality, assist in technical aspects of the work as required.
- Assist in preparing specialised reports for clients as and when required, including equity statements, health check reports, group tax summaries, loan account summaries, cashflow forecasts and other management reports.
- Assist in preparation of budgets and forecasts for clients
- Work with advisory tools to prepare regular advisory reports
- Liaise with clients as necessary regarding queries relating to the preparation of their reports
- Assist accounting team with management of Division 7a issues and complex inter-entity transactions
- Handle client queries effectively, balancing time input and client satisfaction
- Provide direction for preparation of tax planning reports
- Present tax planning scenarios to clients
- Pitch, secure and deliver special assignments
What you need to succeed
- 4 + years’ experience in public practice
- Degree qualification in Business, Commerce or Accounting
- CA/CPA qualified or currently studying
