Job description

We're on the lookout for a Client Partnerships Lead to join our Squad team.

But first, here's a bit about Squad

Whether its video, audio or written content, across social, websites, email or publishing, our expertise is built from the DNA of Australia's most successful content-led brand, Mamamia.

Culture drives consumer behaviour, from trending moments to longform storytelling. We are fascinated by the way culture influences content, and the speed at which it changes and as a content and marketing.

You can find out more about Squad here - https://squadbymamamia.com/

What we're looking for.

The Client Partnerships Lead, Squad will oversee client relationships and revenue for owned content across various channels, such as social, OOH, video, and in-house assets.

You'll forge new business connections with the Group Head of Squad, identifying revenue opportunities and implementing them on a national scale. Additionally, you'll nurture existing client relationships, ensuring retention and growth within SQUAD and Mamamia.

In addition to revenue responsibilities, you'll effectively manage the Content Client Management team, ensuring seamless content execution and supporting relationship development with clients and internal stakeholders. Your focus on understanding client objectives and risks will facilitate deeper engagement with our clients, working closely with the Head of Creative Services to competitively scope projects.

You'll also collaborate with Mamamia sales leaders to enhance the team's understanding of the SQUAD role and explore ways to benefit the publisher business.

Here's some of the stuff you can expect to be doing if you join us:

  • Coordinate Client Executions: Collaborate with Client Managers and Creative Services to execute client projects, including shoots with talent and utilization of internal and external resources.

Now, a bit about you.

  • Minimum 7 years in a senior commercial/client management position.
  • Results and performance driven with strong analytical skills
  • Superior networking, presentation and communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and decision making ability

  • Strong commitment to the improvement of processes and campaign performance with the ability to problem solve creatively.
  • Can work under pressure and shows a high level of agility required to work in a flexible team
  • Positive mental attitude with the ability to impress clients and co-workers every day.

Life at Squad and Mamamia.

We're fast-paced, innovative, and deeply collaborative. Mamamia feels small enough that you can create real and tangible change, but has the structure to support your ideas with experienced and industry-leading teams, and deliver them to an audience of millions of women every month.

We have a start-up spirit within a scaled-up business structure and we're incredibly proud of the culture and community we've created. Our team is inclusive, passionate, and fun (..although apparently, not very modest about it); many lifelong friendships and connections have been forged in Mamamia HQ.

But enough about us, let's talk about how we can help you. At Mamamia, we want to support all of our staff in kicking as many career goals as possible so that's why we'll support you in getting involved in the things you're actually interested in. Think you might want to broaden your scope? Get exposure to another team in the business? Try something new and develop your skills? We'll help you make it happen and cheer you on the whole way.

On top of all that, Mamamia also offers:

  • Flexible working conditions
  • Celebrate your birthday and ongoing dedication with additional leave days
  • Paid parental leave
  • Paid volunteer leave to get involved with our charity partners
  • The opportunity to work for a purpose-driven company and help us make the world a better place for women and girls.

One more thing!

Mamamia is an equal opportunity employer, all applicants will be considered regardless of your race, sexuality, religion, colour, gender identity, or parental status. We strongly encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to apply. If you require any assistance, including a workplace adjustment to participate in the recruitment process please reach out to **@mamamia.com.au.
