Client Payment and Reconciliation Officer, paying up to $90k + Super for a candidate with finance experience.

Being a growing fintech company, we are looking for someone with strong reconciliation and Advanced excel background with the ability to multitask and attention to details. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, your day will be busy with daily clearing client's payment, weekly/ monthly client's payment reconciliation, with an average AUD $60 million worth of transactions per month.
Duties to -
Prepare daily settlement files & process payment for around 5000+ clients.
Reconcile clients' payment weekly/monthly and adjust accordingly.
Resolve and respond to client's queries in a timely manner.
All acquirer and Client Payment related to journal entry - daily and monthly
Reconcile Multiple Acquirer Report Vs Nayax Internal Report.
Monthly various report analysis and investigate of any variance.
Daily payment allocation of clients.
Reconciliation of all acquirer bank accounts.
Support and prepare monthly and year-end closings
Provide accurate and timely standard reports and ad-hoc tasks as required.
What you'll need to succeed
Training on our system and clearing procedures will be provided. However, the ideal candidate will meet the recommendations below.
An advanced level of Excel skills in template building, reconciliation, advanced formulas.
Preferably experience as a Business Analyst, in financial systems and reporting.
Highly competent with reconciliation skills, able to investigate.
Sound understanding of accounting principles.
Discrepancy and an eye on details.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to build strong working relationships within a small team.
Be able to demonstrate problem-solving skills and work well under pressure.
A proactive attitude with the ability to prioritise their workload.
Knowledge in the payment industry.
