We are now recruiting a Client Relations Manager to join the Fashion, Watches and Fine Jewellery Division. 

YOUR PURPOSE.

CHANEL’s long term objective is to grow qualitatively, building the long-term value of the brand for customers of today and tomorrow.

The incumbent will support the Marketing Manager in defining and implementing a “top client” strategy for Fashion, Watches and Fine Jewellery in the Australian Market.  This is to be done within the guidelines and in conjunction with the Global and Regional Marketing strategies and direction

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Shape, develop and execute a framework and strategy for “Top Clients” by defining the client mapping for the Australian market to better understand this segment of clients through an analytical approach.
  • Formulate a retention strategy for existing and newly recruited top clients.
  • Develop the strategy for Local Top Client events, and execute activities as per the Global catalogue, setting KPIs and post reporting. 
  • Regularly travel across Australia to support boutiques in the development of their top Client Relationships through coaching and advise on an individual approach. Be the central liaison to boutique teams on all top client related subjects.
  • Give input and advise on Ready-To-Wear event targeting strategy and orchestration (private sessions, client journey).
  • Manage and define the client journey, including travel and itinerary management for all Top Client events and activities, hosting, managing on the ground, and being a central point of contact at events, both local and international.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Team on post-analysis and ROI performance of Top client activities and events.
  • Work with the WFJ High End Manager to drive the client engagement strategy and identify prospects for both local and international trips and activities. 
  • Continue to build and work in partnership with the Haute Couture department to develop the base of High-End clients in Australia.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • 10 years of luxury Client Relationship experience, preferably in the fashion industry.
  • Previous luxury client-facing experience and a demonstrated capability to recruit and retain top clients. An in-depth knowledge of Asian Cultures including their shopping preference as luxury clients would be a advantageous. 
  • Ability to demonstrate a good level of sophistication and an appreciation for the arts and culture combined with a strong connection to French heritage as well as lifestyle trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build excellent relationships with all stakeholders. Ability to communicate in Mandarin or French would be well regarded, but not essential. 
  • Demonstrated competence in conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Well-developed organizational and administrative skills, including strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and control own workload, and well developed computer literacy. 
  • Demonstrated capacity to effectively communicate, promote, and uphold company initiatives and values, including discretion and confidentiality.
  • Ability to contribute towards the development and implementation of fashion marketing programs and plan and initiatives to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Commercial mindset, deep understanding of retail dynamics and environment.
  • Personal network and connections across the luxury Fashion industry, in addition to hospitality – hotels, restaurants, art and culture.
