Based in Springwood, DARE is looking for an experienced Coordinator to join our busy Supported Independent Living team.
Reporting to the Community Living Manager, your role will primarily involve overseeing the co-ordination of service delivery at allocated houses and ensure clients are supported to achieve quality outcomes in a person centered environment and have their rights upheld. This will include managing staff and resources; liaison with families, advocates and other services; development and review of individual client programs; maintenance of records and compliance with DARE’s quality management system.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- 3-5 years’ experience working in the community services / disability field with a minimum 2 years supervisory/management experience.
- Strong organisational and administration abilities including proficiency using MS Outlook, Word and Excel
- An ability to deal with multiple demanding priorities
- Problem solving skills
- A working knowledge of risk management and WHS principles
- Community Services or business qualifications (Diploma or higher).
This role is 5 days per week (up to 38 hours), however, we will consider flexible hours for the right candidate. Conditions of employment are in accordance with the SCHADS Award Grade 4. Salary sacrifice is available.
