- HEWL 5: $72,059 - $81,732 per annum plus up to 17% superannuation.
WHAT YOU CAN ACHIEVE IN THE ROLE
You’ll deliver high quality customer service, responding to enquiries from current and prospective students and community members in a consistent, skilled and knowledgeable manner to enhance the student experience at JCU. Often acting as the first point of contact, you will provide timely information and accurate advice on a broad range of matters including courses, scholarships, admissions, enrolment, student fees, alternate entry pathways, examinations, academic progression, graduation, academic transcripts, ID cards and administrative activities.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
As an experienced customer service superstar, you’re accustomed to managing high numbers of enquiries via phone and email, providing accurate information and advice whilst exercising confidentiality and discretion. You’re familiar with the interpretation and application of policies, procedures and processes with ability to acquire proficient knowledge to inform others. With effective organisational and problem-solving skills, you’re able to manage your own workflow and prioritise to ensure deadlines and targets are met in a high-volume work environment. An excellent communicator, you contribute as an effective member of a high-performing team and you’re confident in dealing with people from a variety of backgrounds with respect and integrity. You’re also proficient in a range of software applications including the Microsoft Officer suite with ability to adapt to the use of new software packages with high attention to detail.
