Based in Port Pirie, as our Client Support Officer, you will be the first point of contact for current and prospective clients and establish an ongoing professional and supportive relationship. The Client Support Officer is also responsible for multiple touchpoints in the client journey from enquiry to discharge. 

You’ll also make an impact by:

  • Demonstrating and maintaining effective communication with clients seeking community home care and healthcare services
  • Following up on and resolve queries or disputes, referring to the Support Managers as appropriate
  • Utilizing a variety of staff and volunteer coordination practices, matching service requests according to required competencies and experience
  • Modelling and actively supporting a consumer-centered approach to service provision 

What you’ll bring 

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Good communication skills, including the ability to speak and write clearly and accurately
  • High level interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with people from diverse range of backgrounds
  • Demonstrated commitment to creating and maintaining a positive team environment
  • An understanding of community resources and supports
  • The ability to demonstrate time management and organization skills
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain one

You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following:

  • Certificate III or IV in aged care or equivalent
  • Experience in the aged care industry
  • A current drivers licence
