What is the role?
Reporting into the Operations Manager, you will be able to efficiently and effectively trim and dismantle trees by using complex climbing techniques, whilst ensuring safe work practices. You will also occasionally need to operate an Elevated Work Platform to cut, trim and remove trees and be confident in leading a small team.
This role will work on a contract of Active’s, covering but not limited to Southern Tasmania, based out of Bridgewater. A requirement of this role is the ability to travel up to an hour to reach work sites and occasionally, live away from home for up to two weeks at a time.

Do you have?
- A current drivers’ licence
- Climbing experience
- Cert III in Horticulture or Arboriculture
- Industry knowledge of tree species, tree maintenance and tree removal
- The flexibility to Live Away from Home for up to 2 weeks at a time
- The ability to work safely
Great, but not essential:
- White card
- First aid/CPR
- MR/HR Truck Licence
