The Brisbane ACT Centre  is Queensland’s centre of excellence in  Acceptance and Commitment Therapy  and related approaches  (Compassion Focussed Therapy, Behavioral Activation, DBT, MBCT and other Mindfulness Based Interventions)  located centrally in Milton with free client parking and close to public transport. We are a supportive and passionate group of ACT/CBS practitioners, including psychiatrists and psychologists, working together to grow as therapists and meet our individual goals. We work with adults, adolescents and children enhancing our clients psychological flexibility skills to maximise their valued living.
Brisbane ACT Centre (BAC) was established in Milton in 2014  and has grown a solid referral base thanks to the exploding ACT/CBS evidence-base and awareness amongst the general public, GPs, the ADF – throughout all health services. For a limited time, sessional blocks are available for  Clinical and Registered Psychologists  to join us!

The new Brisbane ACT Centre Psychologist we need is:
- Substantial training / experience in ACT and / or related Mindfulness and Compassion based approaches, is always keen to further their skills, and enjoys being part of a collegial team.
- Able to see clients preferably up to two days a week, and if evenings possible, a bonus! Referrals are booming.
- Full AHPRA registration, Medicare Better Access / DVA / Private Insurance – we arrange all other business parameters for you. Apply Now
