The Women’s & Children’s Health Network provides state of the art health care for women, babies, children and young people across South Australia. We are the state’s leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions as well as being SA’s largest maternity and obstetric service.
Our community-based services also reach hundreds of thousands of babies, children and young people, their families and communities across South Australia through our various services and programs in areas such as our Mental Health, Child & Family Health services, Youth Health and Aboriginal Health services.
The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is a free community-based tertiary mental health service provided through the WCHN across South Australia, providing care to those with severe and/or complex mental health needs. CAMHS provides services to: infants / children / young people up to 18 (16 in some areas) for community, statewide and hospital-based services for perinatal women.

The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists within CAMHS – Morphett Vale to join us as Clinical Coordinator (RN3/AHP3) on a full-time, short-term basis.
Employees classified at this level are experts within their area and stream of practice (mental health) and have a significant degree of autonomy and decision making.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert clinical knowledge and experience to provide pivotal coordination of the team/service.
- In collaboration with Manager reviews incidents, accidents and complaints arising within the clinical setting with a focus on reduction of incidents/accidents and complaints.
- Services are planned and co-ordinated with other disciplines or agencies to meet health care needs.
- Provide leadership and direction, act a role model, mentor, consultant and resource person.
