Form of workThe Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic Education Specialist to join Newcastle Anglican. You will deliver engaging Clinical Education presentations and develop and present education to employees, consisting but not limited to aged care and NDIS staff across the organisation.
This is a Full Time vacancy, working Monday – Friday. Predominantly based at Booragul, however there will be expectation of delivering face to face education at different services throughout Central Coast, Newcastle and Mid North Coast.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Completion of competency assessments with recommendations
- Develop current and new Clinical Education modules using different delivery models based on needs
- Foster a culture of learning in the organisation
- Identify learning needs of employees
- Review internal Clinical Education delivered against relevant legal and legislative requirements to ensure
- compliance is met under multiple legislative and funding requirements for Residential Aged Care,
- Community Care, NDIS and Child Youth and Family Services
- Monitor evolving changes to legislation, industry norms and needs of clinical employees in the organisation and provide education solution to changes.
About you?
- Tertiary qualifications in a clinical field, preferably nursing
- AHPRA registration with no restrictions
- Experience designing and developing Clinical Education
- Experience delivering Clinical Education and assessing competence
- At least 5 years clinical experience
- Ability to develop key stakeholder relationships
- Passionate about best practice and making positive change in the care industry
- Confident and engaging presenter
