About Clinical Education
The Clinical Education Program supports the Women’s to achieve its strategic directions by providing frameworks for the professional development of health professionals. The Program supports the future nursing and midwifery workforce through coordination of pre-registration, graduate, Transition to Specialty Practice (TSP) and specialty post-graduate programs.
About the role
As the Clinical Educator – Nursing you will be utilising a strengths-based approach to develop strategic learning frameworks and coach others to success.
Key responsibilities will see you:
- Taking leadership of the Women’s pre-registration nursing clinical placements program
- Developing and delivering the Women’s Caring for Women with Complex Needs course
- Developing and delivering The Women’s Adult Basic Life Support/Deteriorating patient competency frameworks
- Leading a team of clinical support nurses/midwives working in Women’s health

About you
You will be someone with strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build collaborative working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
You’ll bring with you:
- AHPRA registration as a Nurse with current and extensive acute care experience
- Recent and extensive experience in a similar education role or AUM/management or other leadership experience
- Have completed post graduate education or training in complex care or ICU with associated clinical consolidation.
