About the role
The Clinical Informatics Officer role sits within the Informatics Department which has 4 key portfolios:
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Business Intelligence & Analytics
  • Health Information Services
  • Archives.
This exciting role reports to the EMR Senior Clinical Informatics Analysts and is primarily responsible for the design, build, testing, configuration, installation, training and support of the EMR. The EMR is used by more than 18,000 clinicians and staff across the four health services and is delivered in partnership with Epic, a global leader in health information technology.
About you
To be successful in this role you'll bring with you:
  • Experience or knowledge in supporting an EMR, eHealth system or other health care clinical applications
  • Ability to engage key stakeholders both clinical and non clinical to establish build and optimisation requirements
  • Epic Application Certification and/or equivalent experience (Highly desirable)
  • A reputation for having a reflective and self aware working style that promotes collaboration, visibility and angagement
