  • Full Time Permanent
  • Classification: Health Professional Level 3 with a salary range of $106,427- $121,030 per annum Superannuation

About your new role

As the Clinical Lead, you will lead a multidisciplinary team and be responsible for supporting the clinical oversight and leadership of the Country SA HtH IAR Service.

The Clinical Lead will guide the delivery of high-quality mental health intake, assessment, triage, and referral services for individuals in the community who experience mental health issues and are seeking support. Apriority of the role is to connect people seamlessly to the most appropriate local service to meet their identified needs, consistent with the 'stepped care' approach

You will work alongside the Clinical Service Manager to provide service coordination, guidance, planning, implementation, and problem solving for the HtH IAR Service as well as provide clinical supervision to the clinical and non-clinical staff members.

What you will bring to the role

  • Social Worker with membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW); or Registered Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or Registered Mental Health Nurse with a current annual practicing certificate from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Substantial work experience delivering clinical and or psycho-social interventions with consumers experiencing mental health concerns.
  • Proven ability to; use initiative and encourage collaborative teamwork, maintain confidentiality and build trust to deal with sensitive and difficult situations in an empathetic manner; adapt communication style to meet the needs of a diverse range of people; and to work productively in a changing and agile environment.
  • Compliant with SA Health workplace health and safety requirements, including Reguirements for Workers in Healthcare Setting
