The role:

  • Provide detailed expert advice, guidance, high-level analysis and recommendations to the project team and other stakeholders on relevant policy and project issues to support the efficient and effective provision of care based on clinical standards and best practice principles.
  • Lead and undertake specific project related strategic tasks and deliverables that contribute to the successful implementation of the Family and Sexual Violence Liaison Project.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members on the development, implementation, and monitoring of detailed consultation-related documentation for the Family and Sexual Violence Liaison project including specific deliverables to ensure that milestones, key performance indicators, resources and project activities align with those identified.
  • Provide leadership in contemporary Family and Sexual Violence practices and promote an environment conducive to innovation and change.
  • Lead tasks including identifying, developing, and maintaining effective relationships with all key stakeholders to ensure they are engaged and involved in the development of the Family and Sexual Violence Liaison Project.

The team:

  • Come and be involved working as Clinical Lead roles for the Department of Health and influencing the improved response and awareness of Family and Sexual Violence across a large agency.
  • The location of the position will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
  • The position maybe extended or permanent in the future.

Details of Appointment

Fixed term, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 13 December 2024

  • Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.

Location: Statewide

Your primary work location may be located in the Southern, Northern or North Western Region.

Salary: $120,114 to $134,268 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

  • Please note that access to salaries beyond $126,845 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme
  • Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022

Eligibility:

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

  • Satisfactory completion of an approved allied health professional tertiary qualification/program of study and registered with the relevant National Board or, in the case of self-regulated allied health professions, full membership/eligible for membership with the relevant professional association
  • Current Working with Children Registration

Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:

  • Relevant postgraduate tertiary qualification
  • Current Driver’s Licence

  2. sex related offences
  3. serious drug offences
  4. crimes involving dishonesty

  2. Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
