We are in an exciting growth phase, and as a result we are looking for a Clinical Lead - Psychology and Counselling Services within our Mental Health and Wellbeing Division. We can offer part-time or full-time hours.  The role can be based in any of our Perth metro offices and we also offer working from home arrangements. However, the role does require some travel to other offices, as necessary.

What’s the role?

The Clinical Lead - Psychology and Counselling Services role is responsible for building clinical excellence in Psychology and Counselling services across the business, as well as managing a clinical caseload. The role focuses on the education and support of clinical staff and the development of the service ensuring contemporary best practices are applied. You will also manage a diverse caseload across NDIS and Private Services with a broad scope of presentations.

The role provides senior support to the business in various capacities, including clinical supervision, project management, portfolio work, providing specialist advice and guidance for clinical risk and complex presentations.

  • Therapy Focus support professional development in best practice, evidence-based interventions to meet clinical excellence. We support and prioritise staff to develop their own learning and development plan to target their area of speciality and clinical skills to meet client requirements with access to a Psychologist for regular supervision.
  • Utilise Trauma-Informed and Domestic-Violence Informed frameworks within the Disability Sector

What’s Required?

  • Relevant tertiary Qualifications in Psychology
  • Must have and maintain a current registration with AHPRA.
  • At least 8 years’ experience as a psychologist teamed with hands-on experience managing complex cases;
  • Proven experience with Psychological Assessment, Interventions and evidenced-based, best-practice.
  • Proven experience working with other mental health and disability allied health practitioners and counsellors.
  • Board approved Supervisor or willing to complete relevant training
  • Experience providing clinical supervision and support for other therapists.
  • Demonstrated experience as a leader in the field in supporting quality service delivery in other therapists.
  • Demonstrated skills in networking with external stakeholders.
  • A passion for ongoing learning and skill development to deliver best outcomes for the customers we support.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills teamed with a flexible, can-do attitude, to engage and build rapport with customers and their support networks and work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team where you can contribute positively to team culture and productivity.
