Job description

The Clinical Lead will be responsible for providing clinical advice and direction in the delivery of SEWB care to our SWAMS clients.The Clinical Lead will also be required to provide leadership and guidance to our SWAMS SEWB team and work collaboratively with other managers and stakeholders.Specific requirements of this position include but are not limited to;Essential CriteriaTertiary qualification in Mental Health Nursing, Psychology or related fieldMinimum 3 years’ experience working in mental health (and/or drug and alcohol) settingsDemonstrated knowledge of current issues, standards and trends in the delivery of mental health and SEWB services to Aboriginal peopleDemonstrated experience leading and managing a teamEffective organisational and time management skills, the capacity to successfully manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines.Highly developed Interpersonal skillsDemonstrated high level of written and verbal communication skills, including report writing, policy development, and data collection.Knowledge of the local community and able to travel throughout the geographical service areaDesirable CriteriaAboriginality would be advantageous in this role but is not an essential requirementExperience working in the health industryPossession or progression towards a relevant tertiary qualificationSWAMS offers above award wages, salary sacrificing and packaging options, generous uniform allowance, professional development opportunities and a flexible and autonomous working environment.For more information on the location and the role:For further information about this position, please telephone Human Resources on (08) 9797 8111 during normal business hours.To ApplyTo apply for this role please visit www.swams.com.au ‘Careers’ and follow the online application processor please include a cover letter addressing the selection criteria (no more than 3 pages), include a current resume, and email your application to: HR@SWAMS.com.auApplications must be received by 5pm Thursday, 14th March 2024.SWAMS reserves the right to withdraw this advertisement prior to the stated closing date
