Based in Fairfield and Liverpool South Western Sydney

The Supporting Recovery program will deliver Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence (FDSV) trauma-informed mental health care services within South West Sydney to support victim-survivors in their longer-term recovery.
Key elements of the service include:
Victim-survivors of FDSV and their families have access for up to 2 years to evidence-based trauma informed mental health care.
Provision of psychological therapies and other appropriate wellbeing and social interventions.
Collaborations with other services to facilitate coordination of care and assist with referral pathways.
Community engagement activities to increase community awareness.
What you’ll be doing…
A great opportunity for an experienced Clinical Lead to provide supervision and development to a Mental Health Practitioner team, ensuring the implementation of effective person-centred practices.
Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring all program staff are well supported with appropriate clinical supervision and professional development staff
Working collaboratively with Local Care Team, Anglicare colleagues and external stakeholders to ensure a positive experience for program clients
Providing evidence-based therapies to victim survivors of FDSV for up to 2 years
Collaborating with other services to facilitate coordination of care and assisting with referral pathways
Engaging with the community to increase awareness, encourage help-seeking behaviour, recovery and healing through trauma-informed mental health care and available supports

What you will need…
Tertiary degree qualification applicable to role – i.e. psychology, counselling, social work, nursing or similar
Registration with relevant professional body – i.e. minimum level 4 ACA, PACFA Clinical, APHRA, AASW mental health social worker accreditation
Extensive experience working with clients experiencing mental health challenges and FDSV (mandatory)
Demonstrated ability to successfully lead a high performing team and maintain a positive workplace culture
Previous experience supporting CALD clients
Current NSW Driver’s Licence and WWCC
