About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to take on a clinical lead role within a dynamic multidisciplinary paediatric clinic in Newcastle.
This role is a fantastic opportunity for any Paediatric Occupational Therapist's with 3+ years experience who are looking to take the next step in their career. The right candidate will have a passion for working with children, and drive to utilise and develop their leadership skills.
This is an exciting role that offers a varied paediatric caseload, servicing children with autism, behavioural difficulties, developmental delay, anxiety/depression and sensory processing difficulties. In this role you will assess and implement strengths-based therapy plans to support children, adolescents and their families to achieve their goals. Treatment will take place predominately within the clinic, as well as the community such as the child's home and school.
As the clinical lead, you will provide supervision to the junior Occupational Therapists. You will be supported by an experienced leadership team to develop your leadership and management skills. Enjoy working in a friendly multidisciplinary clinic that offers you administrative and clinical support, which will help you provide clients with the best level of service.

About You:
- Tertiary Degree in Occupational Therapy
- AHPRA registration
- 3+ years of paediatric experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage with children and adolescents
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrates a good work ethic and takes pride in work
- Ability to provide supervision to junior OTs
- Drive to utilize and develop leadership skills
- Current drivers licence and vehicle
- Working with Children Check and National Police Check
