An exciting opportunity exists for an Aboriginal person to join the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network (YNLHN) as Clinical Lead (RN2).
The Aboriginal Clinical Lead contributes to the Aboriginal Health Directorate, YNLHN goals through ensuring Clinical Leadership and connection to clinical services in the planning, consultation, development, and implementation of YNLHN Aboriginal Health activities and projects in support of the Aboriginal Health Care Framework and the YNLHN Clinical Services Plan.
The Aboriginal Clinical Lead contributes to the Aboriginal Health Directorate, YNLHN goals through ensuring Clinical Leadership and connection to clinical services in the planning, consultation, development, and implementation of YNLHN Aboriginal Health activities and projects in support of the Aboriginal Health Care Framework.
The Aboriginal Clinical Lead will provide nursing and/or midwifery services in a variety of health service settings which has been consolidated by experience and/or further study with staff at this level developing from competent to proficient practitioners.
The Aboriginal Clinical Lead will accept accountability for their own practice standards, activities delegated to others and the leadership, guidance and support professional development of less experienced staff.
Eligibility
Applicants must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
