An opportunity has become available for a Clinical Midwife (Perinatal Loss Coordinator) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Provide governance for safety of all clients in this model of care
- Provide and support expert perinatal loss and midwifery care for women and families experiencing perinatal loss
- Develop and maintain a perinatal loss database
- Be involved in any relevant perinatal loss related research
- Maintain guidelines/policies based on best practice guidelines developed by the Perinatal Society of Australia and New Zealand
To be successful in this position you will require:
- Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent
- AHPRA Registration
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Pertussis (Whooping Cough), Hepatitis B and COVID 19
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed

- Base salary ranging from $50.83 - $54.42 per hour
Gold Coast University Hospital Maternal Fetal Medicine provides women and their families with comprehensive management of maternal and fetal disease before, during and after pregnancy and birth, to meet the needs of local Gold Coast community, as well as greater Southeast Queensland and Northern New South Wales. This service is located in Southport.
