The role of Senior Systems Engineer will see you provide operational and project-based services for NEC to our customers. These services include operational monitoring, management and support of both on premises and public cloud infrastructure, across a variety of technologies for government customers.
About you
- 5+ years’ Server and Virtualisation support and troubleshooting,
- 2+ years’ Public Cloud support and troubleshooting,
- Highly analytical and detail oriented, with the ability to communicate technical language and clearly articulate solutions to clients and a varied audiences,
- Understanding and exposure to Cyber Security principles;
- Enjoy working within a team environment and independently when required,
- Understand ITIL and ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and HPSM
Sound Knowledge of
- VMware Products such as vCenter, ESXi and NSX
- Azure
- M365
- Microsoft Hyper-V

- Drive high levels of system availability, capacity, reliability, data integrity, security and performance are maintained
- Ensure Infrastructure standards, architectural and design requirements are maintained,
- Create, deliver and maintain consistent detailed level design documents
- Proactively support and drive service and technology improvements with comprehensive analysis
- Service requests and Incident management - Investigate and analyses incidents raised by clients,
- Understand and adhere to Change Management policies and procedures for implementing changes.
- Please note, there will be activities after hours, including an on-call roster.
