What you will be doing:
An exciting opportunity is available to join the media team within Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District as a Multimedia Producer on a permanent full time basis. The purpose of the position is to execute a wide range of multimedia-related tasks and responsibilities, including digital photography and photographic editing, video production and editing, audio recording and editing, multimedia event management support, live streaming communication technological solutions, broadcasting via VC and Web, as well as graphic design, including motion graphics and print resource production. The primary goal is to create, enhance and manage Clinical Multimedia Content and solutions that effectively communicate our message, engage our audience, and support the Local Health Districts’ strategic goals.

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, Category A workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
Selection Criteria to be Addressed: * Demonstrated competence and at least five years of experience in the relevant multimedia disciplines, particularly video production, audio production, photography, multimedia event management and live streaming.

  • Demonstrated competence in using relevant multimedia equipment and software.
  • Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to brief customers and translate the brief to the multimedia team.
  • Demonstrated excellent time management and organisation skills, ability to meet deadlines while undertaking multiple tasks simultaneously, and ability to work independently as required.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and experience in multimedia production projects.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the NSW Health policies and procedures relating to media production and publication, including OHS and patient privacy and confidentiality policies and legislation.
  • Hold a current NSW drivers' licence and be willing to use for work purposes.
  • Ability to provide a showreel or links to previous work.
