Job description

Country Nursing and Midwifery Incentive Program

Ever considered a career in the country? The Country Nursing & Midwifery incentive program is available to support new and existing nurses and midwives - across a broad range of patient-facing roles.  It is available to new and existing nurses working full-time, part-time on fixed-term and permanent contracts across 76 select sites.

Eligible nurses and midwives at Norseman Hospital could receive up to $17,000 as part of this program.

About Us

The WA Country Health Service’s core business is the provision of quality, accessible health services to people from large regional centres to those in small remote communities.

Our vision is to be global leader in rural and remote healthcare.

Our values of Community, Compassion, Quality, Integrity, Equity and Curiosity shape who we are, how we behave, how we interact with each other, how we make decisions and how we provide care to our patients.

About the REGION

Norseman is the southern gateway to Western Australia. It marks the end of the epic Eyre Highway that spans 1,675 kilometres across the Nullarbor Plain - the largest limestone karst landscape on Earth. The area is extremely popular among four wheel drive enthusiasts keen to explore the Nullarbor Plain, untouched temperate woodlands, rugged granite outcrops, ancient salt lakes, stunning displays of Western Australian wildflowers and practice your swing on the longest golf course on the planet - Nullarbor Links.
