The successful applicant will be cognisant of all aspects of managing the clinical care of refugee children and their families new to Australia and have experience in working with culturally and linguistically diverse families.This role is responsible for the provision of direct clinical services to clients and establishing partnerships with key stakeholders to coordinate, implement and evaluate effective and efficient Refugee Health programs.To be successful in this position you need to have:
- Broad nursing experience including primary health care principals and social determinant of health.
- Ability to work independently and as part of multi-disciplinary team.
- Effective personal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Well-developed problem solving and negotiating skills.
- Current knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements in the area of equal opportunity, disability services and Occupational Safety & health and how this will impact on employment, client management and service delivery.
